01History & Mission

Started in 2015 by local business and property owners, the Crisol Corridor – Business Improvement District (BID) # 50 – began its work with a mission of supporting and promoting positive economic development, business networking, districtwide beautification, as well as improvements in public safety and community relations in and along the S 13th St & W Oklahoma Ave commercial corridors.

02Business District Boundaries

The Crisol Corridor – BID #50 boundaries encompass a unique area of the City of Milwaukee along two of its Southside commercial corridors.  Running East to West, the district begins at South Chase Ave and follows West Oklahoma Ave to South 15th Street.  Running North to South, the district  begins at Crisol Corridor Map

Crisol Corridor Business Resources

Business and Commercial Property Owners located within the Crisol Corridor – BID 50 area have access to a variety of different grant and resource programs.  Each grant program has been developed to assist with improving the safety, security and image of each of our area businesses, and the overall community.  A major goal of the Corridor is to continue creating a safe and welcoming environment for our businesses, consumers and area residents.
